Lost in LA

Part two of my holiday posts - back to the beginning of the trip, which started in Los Angeles. It was of course exciting - particularly living through an actual heavy earthquake - quite weird and scary. Like the building was going through turbulence.
This is where I got sick of course - two days into the trip. Only just better now, nearly a month later!

We did a day tour which is a pretty good overview, via a Day in LA tours (on the Rastabus). Plus we also got to meet up with some online friends at a Donut place (Glazed - Donuts for Grownups). They even serve Dom with their donuts.

We saw vending machine caviar, and got yelled at on Venice Beach. We also did the bulk of our shopping....

Actually I think we spent the most money on cabs! LA transport is horrendous, we must have spent hundreds on cabs in 4 days.

Bacon donut....

Cheesecake factory

A hotel dinner - Oyster Bay wine is cheaper there for some reason!

Ummm...yum?
