Lust and drool...

Want and need...two very different things!

I think I may need these wedges - would be very versatile, and make me look less stumpified with maxi dresses.

Tony Bianco Fireli

Want - am I too old for hearts though?

Want - lace overlay is so pretty

So versatile for work! And play!

Spending ban starts monday though....I am thinking of making an exception for vintage dresses under $30. I have to have something to stop me going insane.

More of Malaysia - Food Glorious Food!

What is the best part of travel? The food of course! So here are a few things I partook of in Malaysia...

Plate of food at the KLCC OZ Day celebrations - I need one of those plates at home to hold my wineglass...

Desserts...I had about 5 plus the chocolate fountain

Random Indian food for lunch

Nothing like a refreshing coconut...

Mmmmm....vego temple cafeteria

No idea what this was but it was tasty

More random Indian food...
It was kind of hard finding places in KL for vegos like me - Indian was clearly my best bet. And super tasty too.

ooouuch!

Someone is a complete klutz and shouldn't be allowed in the kitchen. First, I burn my hand on a saucepan and wind up in emergency. Then, I manage to mistake my thumb for a carrot (the freckles should have clued me in), and choppy my finger. Cue 3 hours in emergency. Sigh.

Something old and Something new

Well, another week, more outfits. While I was in Adelaide I went vintage shopping with my mother to get my birthday present - which turned out to be 5 new vintage dresses (possible oxymoron?), and a handbag. Woohoo! I haven't been vintage shopping in more than 10 years, and I loved it.

So here are my week's outfits.

Dress: Banana Republic, brooch: vintage, shoes: TB

I love the little twist and bow in the neckline

Dress: vintage 60's, Shoes: Mollini, Bag: Forever New, Brooch: Grandma's

I love the hell out of this bag - pity it's not leather

Mollini heels - worn to death, all marked and scratched up. Will have to chuck them out soon

Dress: Vintage 60's crimpolene, Necklace: Sportsgirl, Shoes: unknown

Who could pass up such a bright blue that doesn't require ironing??

Dress: Vintage, Necklace: Vintage, Shoes: TB

Not entirely sure on this one - might get it shortened
I definitely need to get myself a nice camera - hanging out for a DSLR Nikon. I have my dad's old lenses from the 70's which should fit on a new camera. Can't afford it though!

Caved, totally

Ok, so I totally caved and got the Dany shoes after all. They just look so good on people, like these on a blogger from Chictopia. But on me they are so totally going to look like a 34 year old going on 7. But I don't care. I tried on some mary janes with ankle socks last night and in my sleep deprived state I was convinced I could pull it off. Hmmmm..

Pretty on her....

As of Monday, when my advisors deliver my financial plan, I will be on a mega spending ban. I will keep myself honest via this blog. Especially since I have my canada trip to think about. So I got some Asos goodies to make it last...last thing I need is a pair of nude wedges...

Warehouse Swallow Print blouse

Jersey Maxi skirt - this will inevitably make me look stumpy

Palazzo pants - these will definitely stumpify me.

I have no idea why I seem to be lusting after 70s stuff. I don't fit into that hippy look very well!

Whoops! Asos got me again...

So, I went and got my new will drawn up last night. $1000. I had to try to look all smooth, like sure, $1k bill is no problemo. Lol.

So I slightly regret my asos splurge, couldn't resist the free shipping + 20% off asos brand + 10% off coupon.

I also tracked down the leopard blouse I wanted from Zara. I first saw it in Singapore for full price, ummed and aahed about it. Then in Malaysia I only found a size XL. I finally found a medium on ebay and snapped it up.

I still want these though...are they worth it? Will I look stupid wearing them with socks ala a million style bloggers? It's probably not my style but I still want them bad!

Asos spot dress - had to buy this to channel Pretty Woman

Leather briefcase bag. Will probably regret the brown cause I rarely wear anything other than black

Yes, I am obsessed with satchels lately

Horse print tunic. So pretty with a pencil skirt.
