Made an Asos order late last night, breaking my shopping ban. And strangely everything I ordered is floral, so I suspect I may wind up blogging outfits that look like a nanna's couch.

Got an upgrade to a spa suite win! I do love staying at the Rydges here in Bathurst. Although the door handle on the shower fell off this morning. Luckily I was not trapped:)

Sunshine and Gold

Back from Brissie - not happy to be gone from sunshine and hanging out with my awesome friend.

Got some bad news on Friday morning - my stepfather was diagnosed with cancer. It's actually only a couple of weeks until the 8th anniversary of my dad's death from cancer, so it's hit me hard. But what can you do besides be there for the ones you love?

Driving to Wagga today for a presentation with the VC - decided to go a bit retro secretary. Had to wear some serious undergarments - I am so incredibly bloated still from the weekend that's it's just reached the painful stage:( Not sure what is causing it but I am sipping peppermint tea like nobody's business.....

So sore and tired from three days of hard workouts that my gym session this morning was seriously lackluster. I hate that!

Cruella de ville

Today's outfit is clearly brought to you by Cruella de Ville....I bought this coat/dress from Cue years ago. It was one of those things that I just Had to Have - pounced when it went on sale. And promptly wore it once then relegated it to the back of the closet. It might be the three quarter sleevs (annoying for most seasons), or perhaps the weird feeling you get when essentially wearing a coat as a dress (like you might accidentally take it off thinking it's a coat).

Dancing Queen

Melbourne weekend is (sadly) done and dusted and I am back in the office.I had a great time as usual, even if my quiet friday night turned into flavoured vodkas at Naked for Satan, followed by dancing til dawn at Weekender.

I managed to be restrained on the shopping front - just a  new plain black Zara blazer, and grey wax coated jeans. Pity I wasn't so restrained with alcohol consumption - I had such an impossibly bad hangover saturday. I think I still have it!
